The tour includes prolonged stops at strategic points from which you can autonomously reach the beauties of the eternal city, namely:
- Vatican City: St. Peter’s Square; Basilica of Saint Peter; Vatican museums.
- Campo de ‘fiori: local market; Piazza Navona; Pantheon;
- Piazza Venezia: Campidoglio; panoramic view of the Fori Imperiali; Roman forum
- Colosseum: Colosseum; Arch of Constantine; Palatine;
- Trevi Fountain: Spanish Steps;
- Mouth of Truth and Basilica Santa Maria in Cosmedin (optional stop)
You will discover that crossing the entrance to the Vatican City, getting lost in the hills of the Bernini’s Colonnade and being breathless in front of the magnificence of St. Peter’s Basilica will make you part of “a whole”, it is a feeling that goes beyond of one’s creed, an exercise of the soul.
The heart of Rome: folkloristic market, Campo de ‘Fiori still preserves the historical lively and noisy atmosphere that contrasts the executions that once took place there.
Piazza Navona is animated by many artists who capture expressions and typicality of those who let themselves be portrayed.
And finally, the Pantheon is one of the most famous ancient monuments, known for its unique dome with a diameter of 43 meters, motionless witness of the times in constant change.
The itinerary will allow you to get to know the heart of ancient Rome.
Along Via dei Fori Imperiali we will take you to discover the largest archaeological area in Rome.
From Piazza Venezia, you immediately notice the Capitoline Hill and the Capitoline Museums, where await you will find the famous “Lupa Capitolina” nursing the mythological founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.
It will then be easy to reach the area of the Roman Forum and get to the Colosseum, symbol of the eternity of Rome, the largest amphitheater in the world.
The next stop will be Fontana di Trevi, probably the most famous and spectacular among the numerous fountains of Rome, throw a dime and let us know if, then, your wish will come true!

We will admire the famous “Barcaccia” and climb the steps leading to the church of Trinità dei Monti, from which one can enjoy one of the most fascinating views of the city.

From the Palatine Hill, as an alternative to the historic center, you may choose to stop and admire the Circus Maximus in the commercial area of Rome, where the city’s port, the Portus Tiberinus, was located.
